I have been a Yoga teacher at Body Language for 11 Years, and a member at Body Language for 20 years. I have 3 daughters, 20, 18 and 11. Two oldest are at MSU. Looking forward to seeing you at Body Language and connecting with you.

Carey A Abraham

Hello! My name is Carey and I have been teaching aerobics for seven years. I started teaching aerobics at Michigan State University. I have been a member at Body Language for about five years and have been addicted ever since! My favorite class to teach at Body Language is Fitball. When I am not working out, I enjoy any type of activity that is outdoors! My other job is teaching. I teach second grade at Holly Elementary.

Jennifer Hill

Jen's hobby is to listen to all genre's of music...especially live music.  Her favorite movie is To Kill a Mockingbird and she would like to travel to Europe for her dream vacation.

 

Hello Everyone! My name is Jennifer Hill. My friend, Chris Lundin, kept bugging me for years to come and try yoga at Body Language. So when I got bored with my fitness routine, I took her up on the offer. I have been active most of my life...running, aerobic classes, weight training, etc. but when I took my first yoga class, Vinyassa, I was completely hooked. It felt perfect to my body and spirit. Vinyassa is my favorite form of yoga. It is physically challenging, creative, and juicy! It became my calming refuge as I was raising three children, working and taking care of a sick parent. Now, I want to assist others in finding the joy on their mat as well as off their mat that I have found while practicing yoga. This fall I plan on enhancing my teaching certification by becoming Yoga Alliance Certified. Namaste'

Lizz Hill

I have worn many hats throughout the years; from engineering & sales account manager, to business owner & barre guru. I love encouraging others to embrace what exercise can do for them not just physically but mentally too. I have been teaching fitness for over 10 years. When not spending time with my two fun loving daughters, I also enjoy hiking, traveling and cooking for family and friends.
The barre is used as a prop to balance while doing exercises that focus on isometric strength training (holding your body still while you contract a specific set of muscles) combined with high reps of small range-of-motion movements
