So it’s that time... like it or not???  Kids buying school supplies... teachers counting the days left of summer and moms starting to think about getting back to taking care of themselves!!  We see it every year, class sizes dwindle in the summer as moms are busy hanging with their kids or carting them from place to place and students in general are just trying to soak up as much of summer as they can.  But then there comes that moment, as Labor Day approaches, when it's time to start thinking about ourselves again.

So, first of all, it goes without saying that with Body Language's 90 plus classes per week there are many opportunities for you to jump back in and get back to taking care of you.   Oh, and by the way, we are shaking up the Fall Schedule  (it begins the day after Labor Day) in an effort to keep it fresh and offer you some different ways to confuse your muscles and see better results.  A couple of new classes to look for are: Turn Up with Tanci and Transform with Toni.  Oh and get this... an entire 25 minutes devoted just to abs called All about Abs!!   If you feel like you may be in need of some more individual attention, both Brian and Marie are offering personal training sessions to target your specific body concerns.   And don’t forget about our amazing massage and reiki programs.   We just added an additional massage therapist (reminder massages with Jill are $10 off in the month of August) so now we have another set of hands to help you manage the stress in your life and help you relax!

Now, throwing one more thing out there you may or may not have thought about and that is to consider joining our yoga teacher training program.   I’m guessing I lost a bunch of you with that last suggestion.  You are likely saying to yourself something like, “I could never teach yoga”.  But my response to you would be two fold.  First of all never say never.   Teaching yoga doesn’t  have to be limited to just teaching a traditional yoga class.  I have had graduates of this program teach to children in preschools, to inmates in jail, to the elderly in senior centers and to their friends in their basements!!   And secondly, our teacher training program is not limited to those who may have aspirations to teach at all but in fact the training is also aimed at simply taking your yoga experience to the next level. The graduates of this program have shared with me and others that this program has truly transformed their practices and their lives.  I am so grateful to have a panel of experts by my side in this training so that we can teach you more about the philosophy, the psychology, the anatomy, the alignment, the postures and just the fun of yoga!!

So if you’re the least bit inquisitive, here’s the deal:  show up Wednesday August 21st between 5-8pm for our Wednesday Wine & Wisdom.  We will be featuring students who have gone through our teacher training program.  They will be hanging out and available to answer your questions and to share what they gained from their teacher training experience.   Would love for you to stop by...have a glass of wine and find out more!!
