It’s that time of year!! Everyone is jabbering about New Year’s Resolutions and getting back in shape!! But, my suggestion to you today is to cast away this old school way of trying to set often unrealistic goals. A typical goal might be losing those extra 10 pounds that you packed on over the past year all in the first couple of months of 2020. Instead, set some realistic intentions that are more sustainable the whole year long.
So tonight, January 8th, I’m going to be hanging out in the Link from 5:30 - 8 pm sharing 4 New Year’s Intentions with you. These tips are what I consider to be the most important changes you could make in 2020 to lose those unwanted pounds once and for all and most importantly to keep them off!!
Hopefully, you can stop by tonight for a glass of wine and a little of my wisdom.. BUT if you can’t, here they are:
1. Workout at least every other day
2. Put something in your mouth every 3-4 hours
3. Check labels to make sure all grains are 3 grams of fiber or more per serving
4. Meditate or practice yoga 2-3 times per week
If you stop by, I will expand upon each of these a bit. I will also explain the science behind each of these recommendations and then I will help you figure out which one you should choose first to start modifying your behavior and get you moving in a better direction.
Remember a big part of being successful is just showing up so show up tonight and become a little wiser about how you can make 2020 your healthiest year yet!!! Cheers!!
