Jenna went through BL’s teacher training back in 2020. I have to say that this was one of my favorite groups of trainees as they instantly formed such a great bond and it makes me so happy to say that Jenna and a handful of others became and have remained the best of friends. I remember Jenna’s feedback class well because her theme was so genuine and reflected the sweet person that I discovered her to be. She started subbing for BL shortly after passing her feedback and has been subbing ever since. She even landed her first regular class at BL this past Spring which will likely resume this fall (Mondays at 4:30 pm). Jenna used to dance growing up and was president of her dance team at Michigan State her senior year (GO GREEN!!). After college she shared with me that she wanted to find a way to still teach and move her body and that’s when she found Body Language’s Yoga Teacher Training program.  She also shared with me that the reason she likes teaching yoga is that she loves being able to help people be at peace, have fun, and de-stress when they come to her classes. A few things you might not know about Jenna…she went to college to study studio art. She loves ceramics, painting and photography and currently works as a photographer taking pictures for a local bakery. She loves painting murals around her house and just painted a bunch of strawberries in her kitchen. She loves houseplants and feeding squirrels and birds. Jenna we are glad you found your way to us and that you have become part of our BL family. Great to have you on board!!

When I think about Meghan, I think of the word spunky and I associate Meghan with just tons of high energy. I have often marveled at all she juggles being the mom of 4 children and finding time to teach nearly every day as well as stay involved in her kids’ busy lives. Even that fact that she gets up and regularly teaches at 5:45 am just blows my mind!! Meghan told me that she got her love for fitness from her parents and used to do Jane Fonda videos with her mom (love this…so did many of us!!). She started playing soccer at the age of 8 and continued through high school. She took her first Body Language class when she was a teenager with her mom back when we had carpet!! After high school she really got into fitness and got her personal training and group exercise certifications. She ran into me and Chris at a fitness convention in Chicago and the rest is history. She’s been teaching for BL now for 11 years. Meghan graduated from Madonna University with a degree in Fashion Merchandising, so we even had her running BL’s boutique area for a while. Although Meghan and her husband stay very busy with their 4 children, she also is the President of the PTA at her kids elementary school and enjoys doing other volunteer work at the school as well.  In Meghan’s “down time” she loves running, walking and doing anything active with her family!! Meghan we so appreciate that you show up to every class game on and ready to kick our butts. Your energy never ceases to amaze us. Thanks for being you and thanks for being such an important part of our BL community!!
