Body Language’s Yoga Teacher Training is more like a Yoga Immersion. Year after year about ½ of those attending say they have aspirations to teach while the other ½ say they are really looking to just deepen their practice and their understanding of yoga. One of the intentions that I have for every student is to gain knowledge from the training that truly allows the practice of yoga to transform their lives. This transformation is made possible when we let yoga start to permeate into other areas of our lives. We see it helping us with anxiety and depression. We use our yoga breathing when we are angry to calm us down. We learn how to focus on being more present which helps us to make more conscious decisions about when we are actually hungry or full. This is just to name a few.

A couple of the things that sets our training apart from others is that even though I am the creator and coordinator of the program, I pull in 9 other teachers who all have additional training in their individual areas of expertise. For example, Ronda has a Ph.D. in psychology so she leads the sessions on anxiety and depression as well as the Enneagram, personality typing workshop. Ronda will also be offering a workshop on Trauma and how yoga can be an effective tool in dealing with trauma in our lives.  Another example is Margie who is a physical therapist and has a great deal of knowledge when it comes to anatomy. So you will get to delve deep into the respiratory and nervous system as well as to understand how yoga can assist in pain management. Jamie, Claudia, Shawn, Angela, Justin, Rita & Heather make up the rest of this talented team. Each of them brings their experience and expertise to this training that when combined, really sets this training apart.

The other thing that is different about our training is that it is separated into 2 segments. There is a Fall Session and a Winter Session. You can start with either one. After completing both segments you will have the 200 hours of training required by the nationally recognized Yoga Alliance. We have found that by separating the training into 2 parts, the time requirements are more palatable when trying to weave in with job and/or family responsibilities.

The Fall training kicks off Saturday, September 28th. Most sessions are Saturday and Sunday afternoons. You can save $200 by signing up by September 15th. All sessions are taped so you can easily make up missed sessions by watching at a convenient time for you. Maybe this is the nudge you need to take the leap and do something just for you!! But also know that everyone around you will benefit from this training as well as you begin to share your yoga story and experience with others.

Feel free to reach out to me personally if you have any questions. Would love to have YOU join us!!!
