We are super excited to announce the launching of a new class called PRIME. It’s a brand new format aimed at helping us move better, feel stronger and improve overall mobility. Brian will be offering this class Thursdays at 10 am starting April 10th as part of our “Basic” line up offered in this time slot. Our basic classes are easy to follow, modifiable and offer a safe space for ALL bodies to get a great workout.

PRIME stands for Posture, Reactivation, Integration, Mobility and Efficiency. In Brian’s words…”PRIME focuses on releasing overactive muscles, activating underused muscles, and integrating full-body movements for optimal performance. Whether you’re recovering from overuse, seeking better posture, or just want to improve how you move, this class will empower you to feel and perform at your best with targeted exercises that promote long-lasting results.”

I was thinking the other day about my “WHY.” WHY did I create this space called Body Language? WHY do I personally show up every day to workout or practice yoga. WHY am I so determined to spread sound nutrition information? Then I came across this saying that summed it all up…”Everything changes when we stop building bodies for a season and start building them for LIFE. No quick fixes, no diet culture, just strong men and women across generations. Our bodies aren’t trends…they’re our home.”

Over the years my WHY has certainly included fitness, yoga and nutrition programming to help BL peeps get in better shape and perhaps lose unwanted pounds. BUT my WHY has definitely always focused on Sustainability as well. What changes can we make in our diets, our lives, our workouts that are sustainable. How can we take better care of ourselves to ensure we have the strength, mobility and flexibility to do both our daily tasks as well as all the activities in life that bring us joy.

We are super geeked that Brian’s training in corrective exercise and our vision for adding this type of programming have aligned.  The result will be this unique class added to the schedule on Thursdays at 10 am starting April 10th aimed at taking good care of our bodies for years to come!!
