Carey A Abraham

Hello! My name is Carey and I have been teaching aerobics for seven years. I started teaching aerobics at Michigan State University. I have been a member at Body Language for about five years and have been addicted ever since! My favorite class to teach at Body Language is Fitball. When I am not working out, I enjoy any type of activity that is outdoors! My other job is teaching. I teach second grade at Holly Elementary.

Alicia Long

I have always had a passion for fitness and health! In 2002, I graduated from MSU (Go State!) where I taught kickboxing and bootcamp style classes at Powerhouse Gym. When I moved to metro Detroit I taught aqua aerobics and spinning at Lifetime Fitness and LA Fitness. I took a break from teaching when my job with the American Heart Association expanded to Chicago, but I continued to workout and even did the Kansas City half marathon!

Fun Fact: The day before I gave birth to BOTH of my sons I did a kickboxing class at Body Language!

I will complete my RYT200 in the fall of 2017 at Body Language and hope to teach power vinyasa classes in the future.

Tricia Auten

Several Years of experience teaching fitness classes, personal training and wellness advising. Bachelor of Exercise Science, Wellness & Health Promotion from Oakland University. On a more serious note I expect my students to sweat, workout like it’s their last and NOT drop their quarter!

Marie Volansky

Marie Is a full STOTT PILATES Certified Instructor (Mat, Reformer, Cadillac, Chair and Barrels, Injuries and Special Populations) also certified in Zumba, PiYo, and a personal trainer. Whether in a class or a private session Marie utilizes her Pilates training and fitness experience to create a fun but challenging workout. Incorporating balance, strength and flexibility exercises to help her clients achieve stronger and healthier bodies. From the athlete to the post rehab client she will design a workout to help you achieve your goals.
A total body workout using small isolated movements at the barre and on the mat. Working the core, hip, thigh and arm muscles to fatigue. Shoes Optional
