I love the fact that life has led me down this road of wellness and enabled me to touch so many students' lives. I am truly passionate about offering a fitness, yoga and nutrition program that allows every student to look and feel his/her best. I am SO grateful to be surrounded by an awesome staff who share my passion and a wonderful family who have supported me every step along the way. The training that I received in order to be able to effectively share my passions include my degree from MSU as a Registered Dietitian, A.C.E Fitness, and Yoga Alliance Certification as well as over 20 years of teaching experience. I look forward to having YOU in class!!
 

Deb B Behnke

Hi! I'm Deb Behnke.  I started teaching at the orignal Body Language in 1979. I am blessed with 3 beautiful grandchildren. Any extra time I have, other than working at the Detroit Gun Club, I like to spend it with my family. I love teaching aerobics-I love the people and the time it allows us to spend on ourselves making us better people. Working out to me isn't a job - It's a passion!

Deb's favorite hobby is to make and refurbish furniture out of wood. Her favorite food is pizza and her favorite book is The Art of Racing in the Rain.

.Chris Lundin

Hi Guys, I have been teaching group fitness for about 28 years now, 22 years right here at Body Language! I love my job! I teach mostly weight training and Zumba classes and occasionally you will see me behind the front desk managing things! Dont be a stranger, I would love to see you in class! Lets do this!

Shawn Jones

Hi! I’m Shawn Jones. I have been practicing yoga regularly since 2006 and have been a member of Body Language since 2007. I went through Andrea’s Teacher Training program in 2010. The experience deepened my practice and made me even more passionate about yoga! I love teaching and sharing everything this practice has to offer. I’m so happy to have found this wonderful community. In my spare time, I enjoy working out, reading and spending time with my husband and 2 daughters. I look forward to meeting you and having you in one of my classes!

Meghan Smith

My passion for fitness began at an early age watching my parents lead an active lifestyle. I was a soccer player throughout my life and then began taking classes at body language. This is where I was inspired to become an instructor. While finishing my Bachelors in business, I became a certified fitness instructor as well as a certified personal trainer and corrective exercise specialist through NASM. I am blessed to be able to help so many clients achieve their goals. I enjoy spending time with my husband and four children, running half marathons and being outdoors.

Tricia Auten

Several Years of experience teaching fitness classes, personal training and wellness advising. Bachelor of Exercise Science, Wellness & Health Promotion from Oakland University. On a more serious note I expect my students to sweat, workout like it’s their last and NOT drop their quarter!
A full-body workout using a variety of props to build strength, tone muscle and burn calories. Any of the following may be used in a class:  Dumbbells, resistance bands, balls and glides.
