Tamara is Speaker and Coach on a mission to create greater happiness in the world by teaching individuals and groups how to create clarity around their passions, purpose, and actions and habits of happiness to create lasting change and a life you love, now! Tamara has been an at-home yogi for over 30 years and has been meditating regularly, if not daily, for the past 10. Since finally walking through the doors of Body Language in October 2023, she's begun Yoga Teacher Training, teaching Wellness Weekends, and is even a Manager at the Front Desk now! Tamara incorporates meditation, breathwork, and gratitude into her teachings of self-love and authentic living.

Rachel Shepard

Namaste ~ It is a blessing to teach and practice yoga at Body Language since the Spring 2004. Yoga found me at my place of employment over 20-years ago when the area president built a yoga room for the staff. It was instant love at first breath. Yoga soothes my nerves and nourishes my soul. I received my teaching certification from Jonny Kest's Center for Yoga. I also have a BBA degree in Business and Marketing, MBA degree in Business and for the last 25-years have been working in Enterprise Sales.

Kim H. Hakala

 I took my first barre class at Body Language in 2017 and absolutely loved it. I trained and became a certified barre instructor shortly thereafter and am thrilled to be teaching the “Simply Barre” class on Fridays.

Kari Feigley

 My yoga journey began a few years ago when a doctor recommended I try yoga to deal with my chronic ankle pain. After my first class ( at Body Language ) I knew I had found something super special. Like many others I was instantly hooked on not only the physical benefits of my yoga practice, but also the amazing impact it had on my mental wellbeing. I completed my training with Andrea and the BL team in the spring of 2017 and have been teaching since! Although my yoga teaching journey has just begun, I’m so excited to share it with all of you! In my free time you can find me in a class at Body Language, hanging out with my family and enjoying Michigan summers on the lake.
$5 community yoga classes offered Sunday's at 5pm.  No membership required.  Come join us for this Better Backs Yoga class where you will achieve balance between body and mind through postures and breath in this restorative yoga class.
 
Bring a yoga mat or rent one for $2.  55 minutes.
