Brie's Blanket Workshop 2019

In this workshop, Brie will instruct you step by step as you hand knit your very own chunky blanket! At the end of this workshop you will walk away with a beautiful 30x45 inch cozy blanket, perfect to give as a special present, or to keep for yourself! The material we will be using is an incredibly fluffy & soft 1 1/2 inch thick chenille yarn. This 100% polyester material is easy to care for, as it can be hand washed & laid flat to dry. There will be a variety of colors to chose from once you arrive. Feel free to BYOB!

In this energizing and fun active yoga class we will use a Fit Ball as a prop in many different ways - breathing, squeezing, rolling, twisting, lifting, moving, stretching, kneeling, bending, balancing - did I mention bouncing, running, rowing, swimming, climbing, chopping, boxing, jumping, skiing, and a trip Around-The-World? And let's not forget - resting. And that's not all! There's bouncy upbeat music to drive a sweaty class that doesn't need any added heat. BYOB optional - that's Bring Your Own BALL, if you have one. Hydrating before class is highly recommended.

Join us for the ultimate mind/body workout, threading yoga with bursts of cardio. We will lunge, twist and down dog our way through class and then end with restorative poses and Savasana. Modifications offered throughout class and open to all levels. HIIT Yoga is taught by Alicia Long, RYT-200 and Yoga Shred™ Inspired instructor.
Take your yoga to another dimension by coming to partner yoga, led by Andrea. Physically it allows you to get deeper into some postures and emotionally offers you an opportunity to really connect with your partner. The postures are simple and the flows basic so every BODY is welcome. Great for beginners and advanced clients.

Spring 2019 Yoga Teacher Training

Begins Saturday, February 23rd. Please refer to our 2019 Yoga Teacher Training Brochure for all training dates and times.
This 100 hours of training involves learning how to design a better backs class, perfect clear and concise verbiage to smoothly transition your students from one posture to the next, alignment and adjustment practice, anatomy, meditation, and use of props. We will also explore the power of fear and the impact of stressors in our life as it relates to chronic pain especially back pain. Training includes lecture, hands on practice, feedbacks and required reading material.
This training coupled with another 100 hours of ashtanga/vinyasa training in the fall earns each student a certificate of completion that can be presented to Yoga Alliance for certification. Body Language’s Yoga teacher training practice has been pre-approved to meet all the requirements for Yoga Alliance Certification. Students attending this training are welcome to do so whether they have aspirations to teach or they simply want to deepen their practice and learn more about yoga. Training is lead by Andrea von Behren as well as other staff who have an expertise in different areas.
